The al-Qa'im border crossing ( Arabic معبر القائم الحدودي, DMG maʿbar al-Qāʾim al-ḥudūdī ) is a border crossing. It connects the Syrian city of al-Bukamal with the Iraqi city of al-Qa'im along the route from Syrian Aleppo (480 km away) to Iraqi Baghdad (340 km away). The IS took the transition in June, 2014. In November 2017, the border crossing was liberated by the terrorist organization IS by the Iraqi armed forces.
