The border treaty between Bavaria and Austria (Frontier Correction Treaty) of January 30, 1844 between the Kingdom of Bavaria and the Empire of Austria concerned the regulation of the state border between the Kingdom of Bavaria on the one hand and the ducal counties of Tyrol and Vorarlberg on the other. He regulated the demarcation from the Scheibelberg on the Salzburg border to Lake Constance .

“Bavaria finally receives the forest ownership of the Hofmark district of Fischbauau, which lies on the border with Austria in the Bavarian district court of Miesbach. Austria also recognizes the full Bavarian sovereignty over the hamlet of Spielmannsau with Trauchberg in the Sonthofen regional court and over the hamlet of Biesling (also called Biesings) in the Lindau regional court . Due to treaties from the 16th and 17th centuries, Austria still had rights in the areas of taxes, jurisdiction, forestry and hunting. The previously disputed border on the Laibach is now in the middle of the river. Bavaria recognizes the Austrian sovereignty over the community of Jungholz . This community is only connected to Tyrol via the Steinberg and is otherwise surrounded by Bavarian territory. "
