Boundary wall

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The boundary wall , a term from building or neighboring law , is a structural system (wall) that has been built directly on the border to the neighboring property . The border wall is not built over the border, it is completely built on the property of the client .

The development of a property directly on the border to the neighbor is only possible to a limited extent according to the relevant federal and state building regulations. Normally, when building plots, the construction width , i.e. a distance to the neighboring property, must be observed.

Building on the border is conceivable , for example, in garages and semi-detached or row houses. In addition to observing the building regulations, the erection of a boundary wall may also require the consent of the neighbor.
