The municipality of Greven to the left of the Ems last had an area of ​​51 km². It consisted of the three farmers Aldrup, Herbern and Westerode. After the Second World War , the Reckenfeld settlement was built in the northwest of the municipality .

history

The community was formed on October 1, 1894 from rural parts of the city of Greven and assigned to the Greven office. On August 10, 1952, the community was reintegrated into the city of Greven.
