Grigory Sergejewitsch Agabekov
Grigori Sergejewitsch Agabekow ( Russian Григорий Сергеевич Агабеков ; * 1896 in Ashgabat ; † August 1937 ) was a Soviet GPU agent in Turkey .
Agabekow fled to France in 1930 and uncovered some Soviet agents. He wrote a number of "disclosure books".
In August 1937 he is said to have been liquidated by a special unit of the Soviet Interior Ministry (NKVD) in the Franco-Spanish border area. However, Agabekov's body was never found.
