The Grmeč is an approximately 70 km long mountain range in the northwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina . It lies between the Una and Sana rivers . The highest point is the Crni vrh ( 1604 m ). Adjacent mountain ranges are Osječenica ( 1791 m ), Klekovača ( 1961 m ), Srnetica ( 1375 m ) and Plješevica ( 1649 m ). Nearby towns are Bihać , Bosanski Petrovac , Ključ , Sanski Most and Bosanska Krupa .
Until 1975, Grmeč was the name of a train station on the narrow-gauge Steinbeisbahn between Sanica Donja and Srnetica .
