Great Synagogue (Nyasvish)

The Great Synagogue in Nyasvish , a Belarusian city in Minskaya Woblasz , was originally built around 1600. The synagogue was set on fire by the German occupiers in 1941 during World War II .
Before 1941, the proportion of the Jewish population in Nyasvish was very high. The majority of the Jewish population was murdered by the German occupiers during the Holocaust .
