Great Kureika waterfall

The Great Kureika Waterfall ( Russian Большой Курейский водопад Bolshoi Kureiski Wodopad ) is a waterfall on the Kureika River in the Putorana Mountains in the Krasnoyarsk Region , Russia . It is located 7 km before the confluence of the Kureika and Jaktali and about 16 km below the confluence of the Kureika and Njadikan. The Great Kureika Waterfall is the waterfall richest in Russia with a water flow of 300 to 1000 m³ / s depending on the season. Its winding basalt steps were created by an ancient lava flow. The height of the waterfall is between 13 and 17 m.
