Great stone graves near Bielikowo

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The megalithic graves near Bielikowo (also called megalithic graves near Behlkow ) were three megalithic graves of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Bielikowo ( German Behlkow ), a district of Brojce (German Broitz ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . They were destroyed in the 19th century. The graves were located east of Bielikowo, north of the road to Mołstowo (German Molstow ) and were several hundred paces apart. They had east-west oriented rectangular or trapezoidal barn beds with a length of 20 paces each (approx. 15 m). The beds were made of stone. The largest stones were on the eastern narrow sides. There were probably no hills. Burial chambers are not mentioned.
