The megalithic graves near Dolice (also called megalithic graves near Dölitz ) are two megalithic graves of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Dolice ( German Dölitz ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . Grave 1 bears the Sprockhoff number 577.

location

According to Ernst Sprockhoff , grave 1 is located northeast of Dolice in the Jakobshagen forest in the northeast corner of hunting 31. Grave 2 is located east-southeast of Dolice in a forest called Küchenort im Jagen 18 and about 3 km south-southwest of grave 1.

description

Grave 1

The complex has an approximately east-west oriented, trapezoidal barn bed with a length of 53 m. The width on the eastern front side is 7.5 m, the width on the western narrow side can no longer be determined. Only remnants of the enclosure remain in the east of the complex. In 1934, Sprockhoff counted 16 stones on the northern and three on the southern long side as well as two on the eastern front and one on the southeast corner. Sprockhoff could not make out a burial chamber . Presumably the system is a chamberless giant bed .

Grave 2

Grave 2 has a heavily destroyed barn bed. An exact description of the system is not available because Ernst Sprockhoff was no longer able to measure it.
