Big stone grave Dölitz

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave Dölitz was a megalithic burial complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Dölitz , a district of Gnoien in the Rostock district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It was destroyed in 1852 for the extraction of building materials. The exact location of the grave is not known. There is also no more detailed information about alignment, dimensions and type. When the complex was destroyed, a flat stone hammer ax made of hornblende was found. It was transferred to the Association for Mecklenburg History and Archeology, but was later lost.
