The large stone grave in Bad Freienwalde was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel beaker culture near Bad Freienwalde (Oder) in the district of Märkisch-Oderland ( Brandenburg ). It was destroyed in the 18th or 19th century.

location

The location of the grave is described by Johann Christoph Bekmann as "Near Freienwalde on the right side of the hollow path [...], since you drive up the lost river."

description

According to Bekmann, the system had the shape of an "oven". It had three wall stones and a capstone. One side was open. Based on this information, Eberhard Kirsch only classifies it generally as a large stone grave, while Hans-Jürgen Beier classifies it as a presumed ancient dolmen .
