Ehestorf large stone grave
The large stone grave Ehestorf was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Ehestorf , a district of Rosengarten in the Harburg district ( Lower Saxony ). Its remains were discovered during road construction in 1937. It had a round mound which at the time of its discovery still contained the remains of the pavement of the burial chamber . No information is available about the orientation, original dimensions and the exact type of grave. Of grave goods , some pottery shards and stone tools were found.
