The Wachtum large stone grave is a burial site of the Neolithic funnel cup culture in Wachtum, a district of the municipality of Löningen in the district of Cloppenburg in Lower Saxony . It bears the Sprockhoff number 870.
location
The grave is outside of Wachtum, about 750 meters southwest of the church in a small wooded area east of Vinner Straße.
description
The burial chamber is oriented east-west and lies in the middle of a round hill in an oval recess. There are only four stones left. According to Sprockhoff, three of them are the final wall stone on the western narrow side, an adjoining wall stone on the southern long side and a cap stone.
