Ruffian Goose

Grobian Gans ( collective pseudonym of Michael Czernich , Carl-Ludwig Reichert and Ludwig Moos ) published Die Ducks - Psychogram of a Kinship in 1970, an analysis of the residents of Duckburg , including Dagobert Duck , Donald Duck , Tick, Trick and Track, Gustav Gans and others. The book is considered an early work of Donaldism and saw numerous editions well into the 1990s. Many of Gans' theses, however, are considered obsolete by recent donaldistic research. The monograph is also an intelligent satire on the critical sociology suggested by the Frankfurt School of “ Critical Theory ” , which enjoyed great popularity in the humanities and social psychology of the time.
