The Arnold Erbstollen mine is a former non-ferrous metal ore mine in Brüngsberg , a district in the Aegidienberg district of Bad Honnef in the Rhein-Sieg district . It was of particular importance as a hereditary tunnel for water dissolving , the drainage of the weather and the ventilation of the surrounding mines .

history

It is not known when the Arnold mine was awarded as a mine and what it was mined there. More important is the granting of hereditary tunnel justice in this area for the tunnel of the Arnold mine in 1862. It was supposed to connect and disconnect the Anrep-Zachäus , Arnold, Bosco , Emma Sophia , Hoffmann and Rauer Mann mines . It was in operation from 1867 to 1875. Because the fairness of the hereditary tunnel was to be maintained, it had to be dealt with again in 1884 . It was only deleted in 1992 at the request of the Dortmund Regional Mining Authority.

Relics

In the lower Lobach valley not far from the motorway bridge, rust-red water flows out of the buried tunnel mouth hole . There is a large spoil dump in its vicinity .
