Bottom fishing

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bottom fishing is a passive fishing method in which the bait is offered at the bottom of the water and the bite is displayed via the tip of the fishing rod. In heavily fished waters and in the winter months, fish prefer to find their food at the bottom of the water, which is why bottom angling is a common form of fishing and is suitable for both targeted catching of non - fishes and predatory fish . Natural baits such as bait fish, corn , maggots , worms , boilies , etc. are used for bottom fishing. Bottom fishing is a fishing method that can be used to catch a wide variety of target fish.
