Grupa tvog života ( Croatian for "The group of your life") is a four-piece punk band from Croatia , which was founded in 2001 in Osijek . It consists of the singer Silvestar Mrak, the guitarist Alan Biro, the bassist Goran Barišić-Bara and the drummer Goran Hadžić-Hadž.

history

“Grupa tvog života” had its first rehearsal on August 30, 2001 and sees this date as the date of the formation of the band, although the idea of forming such a band existed a few years earlier. Mrak and Hadž started the band and searched for a guitarist until they found Biro and bassist Ivan Mandić-Manda, Mrak's friend from elementary school. The band rehearses in a bunker in Retfala (a district of Osijek), which they share with the bands “Gužva u 16-ercu”, “Debeli Precjednik”, “Diverzija” and “Nevermind”. “Grupa tvog života” is often referred to as the “most joking” band in the Balkans. The members of the band used to play punk music in the groups “Wrong”, “No Small Beers” and “Duševna Kataklizma”. In 2004 Manda left the band. In the same year "Grupa tvog života" got a new bass player, Bara, an old friend of the group, and recorded their album.

Her record Kolo spaja ljude was produced by Radule from the legendary group "Atheist Rap" from Novi Sad. They played dynamic punk. It took twenty days to record the album. In 2006 her record was released by Dirty Old Empire. The promotional concert of the album was in the OKS club in Osijek and the guests of honor were the bands “Mitesers” from Novi Sad and “Novembar” from Niš. “Grupa tvog života” is a band in the punk scene. The album was influenced by the music of the 1980s from ex- Yugoslavia and presents an interesting mix of punk and trash music. Although their music is difficult to define, they describe it as aggropunk music. The most famous songs of the band are "24 milje baći", "Iglice od ježa" or "Muflino kolo", which are about villages and towns near Osijek, and "Deine Idole" (Croatian "Tvoji idoli"). Their only album was also reissued in Serbia , where they are very popular, for Automatic Records under the title Kolo je spojilo ljude . The album has a new cover design and two bonus songs.

Concerts

The band gives many concerts that take place all over Croatia, but often also in other countries of ex-Yugoslavia. They also recently toured Europe where they celebrated their hundredth concert.
