Group F (DMSB)

The group F is a national group of vehicles in car racing in 1989 by the ONS was launched. Nowadays the regulations are defined by the DMSB .

Emerged it is from the technically quite liberal group H . This was advertised for the first time in 1984, but was divided into two categories H-international and H-national (for national events). The latter had more severe restrictions on vehicle modifications and safety equipment, so it was more of a "Group H light". This has been preserved to this day. From 2005 to the end of 2009, Group F was officially referred to as Group F-2005 and should not be confused with the FIA's international group F for racing trucks . Since the beginning of 2010 the addition “–2005” has been omitted and this group is now again called group F.

The technical regulations are used in many racing series, such as the German Mountain Championship or the German Racing Slalom Championship .
