Gu-Chu-Sum

Gu-Chu-Sum is the name of a non-governmental organization founded in 1991 in Dharmshala of former Tibetan political prisoners of the People's Republic of China . The syllables Gu , Chu and Sum refer to the months of September (9), October (10) and March (3), since in these months - on September 27, 1987, on October 1, 1987 and on March 5, 1988 - Three demonstrations for the independence of Tibet have taken place in Lhasa .

Gu-Chu-Sum has 430 members who support former political prisoners in exile as well as political prisoners in Tibet. The organization publishes annual reports on the situation of political prisoners in Tibet, as well as the Political Activist Ebooks with biographies of political activists.
