Gudrun Peters

Gudrun Peters (born February 28, 1951 in Dingolfing ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 2008 to 2013 she was a member of the District Assembly of Lower Bavaria . Before that, she had been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since 1994 .

Life

Gudrun Peters got her higher education entrance qualification through the second education path. She is a trained wholesale saleswoman and studied at the universities of Munich and Regensburg . From 1975 she worked as a teacher at the Fürstenzell secondary school and at the Aldersbach primary school until she moved into the Bavarian Parliament. In addition to her political and professional activities, she is socially engaged in the trade union for education and science (GEW), Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO), VdK and the Bund Naturschutz (BN).

Gudrun Peters joined the SPD in 1978 and is chairwoman of the Working Group of Social Democratic Women (AsF) in Lower Bavaria. From 1994 to 2008 she was a member of the Bavarian state parliament. She was a member of the Committee on Economy, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology and the Committee on Agriculture and Forestry . To state elections in Bavaria in 2008 , they did not stand for re-election.
