Guido von Montfort († 1254)
Guido von Montfort (French: Guy de Montfort ; † 1254 ) was a French nobleman and crusader from the house of Montfort-l'Amaury . He was a younger son of Guido von Montfort († 1228) from his second marriage to Briende de Beynes.
From his father's inheritance, Guido had received the rule of Lombers ( Dép. Tarn ), which had been conquered in the course of the Albigensian Crusade under the leadership of his uncle Simon de Montfort . Guido took part in the sixth crusade (1248–1254) under the leadership of King Louis IX. (Saint Louis) , where he died no later than 1254. Lombers was taken over by a maternal uncle.
