Guillaume Levarlet (born July 25, 1985 in Beauvais ) is a French cyclist .

Career

Guillaume Levarlet won the one-day race La Côte Picarde in 2006 and he was successful on a section of the Ronde de l'Oise . He also finished second at the Prix des Flandres Françaises. Levarlet has been driving for the French Continental Team Auber 93 since 2007 . In his first year there he finished tenth at Tro Bro Leon and won the Swiss one-day race Tour du Jura . In 2011 Levarlet won both stages of the Tour du Gévaudan Languedoc-Roussillon short circuit and won the overall ranking of the race.

In November 2013, Levarlet survived a car accident unharmed in which Arnaud Coyot was killed. Since he was behind the wheel of the car, he was charged with negligent homicide . In November 2014, he was sentenced to one year probation for negligent homicide and his license was revoked.
