La Cote Picarde
La Côte Picarde is a French road bike race .
The one-day race , which usually has its date in mid-April and takes place in the former French region of Picardy , with start in the municipality of Nouvion and finish in Mers-les-Bains in the Somme department , was first held in 1992. Since 2000, however, only drivers of the U23 age group have been allowed and since 2007 the race has been part of the U23 Nations Cup . La Côte Picarde was also part of the Coupe de France , a series of French one-day races from 1996 to 1999 .
The race was canceled in 2016 due to financial problems.
