Pascal Chanteur (* 9 February 1968 in Saint-Denis , Region Ile-de-France ) is a former professional French cyclist . He was a professional from 1991 to 2001 with one interruption.

Career

Chanteur turned pro in 1991 and went back to amateurs the following year. In 1993 he started for the Chazal-Vetta-MBK team. He ended his career in 2001 with Team Festina .

After his professional career, he owned a bike shop in Bergerac until 2016 . Since 2008 he has been a member of the Bergerac municipal council, responsible for sports and leisure.

Since 2008 he has been President of the UNCP (Union nationale des cyclistes professionnels), an association of professional French cyclists. He is also Vice President of the National Federation of Sports Federations and Unions, an association for football players, rugby players, basketball players, handball players and cyclists.

In 2013, his name appeared in a report on riders who tested positive during the 1998 Tour de France.
