Arnaud Coyot (born October 6, 1980 in Beauvais , † November 24, 2013 in Amiens ) was a French cyclist .

Arnaud Coyot began his professional career in 2003 with the French cycling team Cofidis . In his second year he won the Baltic Open-Tallinn Grand Prix in Estonia there. In 2005 he was a surprising tenth at Paris – Roubaix . The following season he was fourth in the Grand Prix d'Ouverture La Marseillaise in Marseille , winner of the Classic Haribo and reached 130th place in the overall standings on his first Tour de France participation .

Due to persistent knee problems, Coyot ended his career after the 2012 season and his contract with Accent Jobs-Wanty for 2013 was terminated .

He died on November 24, 2013 in Amiens of severe head injuries after a car accident in the municipality of Allonne as an occupant of a car over which the driver Guillaume Levarlet had lost control. Levarlet and Sébastien Minard , who was also on board, survived the accident unharmed.
