Sébastien Minard (born June 12, 1982 ) is a former French cyclist .

Sébastien Minard began his international career in 2005 with the French Continental Team R.AGT Semences . In his first season he was able to win a stage in the Tour de l'Avenir . In 2006 Minard switched to the UCI ProTeam Cofidis and competed for this team with the Vuelta a España his first three-week tour , which he finished in 44th place.

Minard achieved his greatest success in 2010 as the winner of the one-day race Paris – Camembert in the sprint ahead of his escape colleague Maxime Méderel , with whom he was able to break away from a 20-man breakaway group.

On November 24, 2013, Minard survived a car accident in the municipality of Allonne as an occupant of a car that driver Guillaume Levarlet had lost control of. Arnaud Coyot , who was also traveling, died shortly afterwards in a hospital in Amiens .

At the end of the 2016 season, Minard ended his racing career.
