The miniature rose Guletta , synonymous with 'Rugul', 'Goldpenny' or 'Golden Penny', was introduced in 1973 by the Dutch company De Ruiter Innovations . It is a descendant of ' Rosy Jewel ' × ' Allgold '. The registered name 'Tapis Jaune' (French "Yellow Carpet") refers to the flowers that are close together.
This polyantha rose grows to a height of 30 to 45 cm and a diameter of up to 45 centimeters. The lemon-yellow, densely packed flowers have a slight scent. They are double filled, so have 17 to 25 petals .
