The Gundadalur is a football stadium in the Faroe Islands . The sports facility located in the capital Tórshavn is primarily used for football matches.

History and use

Gundadalur was built in 1911, later an artificial turf surface was created as a playing field. The facility with its up to 5,000 seats is used by the local clubs HB Tórshavn and B36 Tórshavn as the home ground in Faroese league football and in international matches. Until the inauguration of Tórsvøllur as a fully seated stadium with up to 7,000 seats in 2000, it was the largest stadium in the capital.

The national football association Fótbóltssamband Føroya has had its headquarters at the stadium since 2003.
