Gungsul

Gungsul , sometimes also written Goongsul , literally means "craft of the bow" or "technique of the bow" and describes traditional Korean archery . Another name for this martial art is Guk-gung ( 각궁 ) and Gungdo , the latter means something like "way of the bow".

The Korean bow ('Gak Gung' or 'Hwal') is made from the horn of the water buffalo . It was standardized around 1900.
