The language Bainouk-gunyuño (banyum, banyun, bagnoun, banhum, bainuk, banyuk, banyung, elomay, elunay; ISO 639-3 is bab) is a West Atlantic language spoken by 8,000 inhabitants of Guinea-Bissau south of the Casamance River .
It is the mother tongue of the Bainuk people and is one of the Banyun languages.
The language is related to the Bainouk-Gunyaamolo in Senegala and Gambia .
