Gudri Poulsen
Guðri Poulsen (born July 10, 1977 ) is a Faroese badminton player .
Career
In 2001 Guðri Poulsen won a title at Faroese individual championships for the first time when she won the mixed with Erland Poulsen . From 2002 until 2008 she won two titles a year in the Faroe Islands. In 2006 she was even successful three times, in 2009 and 2011 and 2012 only once more. With 19 titles she is the most successful player in Faroese championships.
At the Island Games in 2009 , she drew international attention for the first time. At this event she won the silver medal in the women's doubles and gold in the team competition. In 2005 she had already competed at the Island Games, but she didn’t get more than one quarter-finals in four starts. In 2011, Poulsen finished second in mixed and came third with the team.
