Belt winder
Belt winders - or inlet belt winders - are devices that are used to wind roller shutter belts. They are available both for manual (mechanical) and automated operation; In terms of installation, a distinction is made between surface-mounted (so-called swivel winders ) and flush-mounted belt winders.
Mechanical belt winders
The mechanical belt winder consists of a roller tensioned by a spring , in whose clamping device the end of the roller shutter belt is attached. If you pull up the roller shutter, the belt is wound onto the roll due to the pretension of the spring.
Automatic belt winder
In addition to the belt roll , the automatic belt winder has an electric motor that drives the belt roll and an automatic control system that controls the belt winder (e.g. the end stops of the roller shutter are entered via this). So is z. B. control via sun / twilight modules is possible so that the roller shutter is closed when there is direct sunlight or when a previously set brightness value (twilight) is not reached. Remote controls enable convenient operation from a distance.
