Ivory Latta was selected eleventh in the 2007 WNBA Draft by the Detroit Shock . In her first season in the WNBA, she scored 3 points per game. On February 6, 2008, the Atlanta Dream transferred their second round pick (18th overall pick) and LaToya Thomas to the Detroit Shock for Ivory Latta. So she has been playing for Dream since the 2008 season .
