Women's National Basketball Association

Due to her strong performance in college, Thomas was selected first in the 2003 WNBA Draft by the Cleveland Rockers . Thomas could only play for the Rockers in the 2003 season , because the Rockers were disbanded after that season. Thus, before the WNBA Draft 2004, a dispersal draft took place, where the rockers split the player among the rest of the WNBA teams. In this draft, she was selected in third place by the San Antonio Silver Stars . Thomas had a good first season for the Silver Stars in 2004 . In the 2005 season she did not get that much playing time and was only in the starting lineup in 12 of 21 games. In the 2006 season she was finally no longer in the starting line-up of the Silver Stars in any game. In the 2007 season she played for the Los Angeles Sparks for the first time . This season she set a new personal negative record with 2.3 rebounds, 7.7 points and 18 minutes of playing time per game. On February 6, 2008, Thomas was selected by the Atlanta Dream in the Expansion Draft . On the same day, Thomas and a second-round pick (18th pick) were transferred to the Detroit Shock for Ivory Latta . After Thomas completed 7 games in the 2008 season for the Shock, she was transferred to the Minnesota Lynx for Eshaya Murphy on June 22, 2008 . There she still had eleven missions that season. After she was never in the starting lineup in the 2008 season and achieved the weakest statistical values of her WNBA career, her time in the WNBA ended.
