Gustav Melczer

Gustav Melczer (born August 31, 1869 in Dobschau , Gemer and Kleinhont county , † October 3, 1907 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian mineralogist and crystallographer .

Melczer studied mineralogy at the University of Budapest until 1893. In 1897 he became an assistant at the Budapest Technical University . In 1902 he became a private lecturer at the University of Budapest. From 1897 to 1899 he was also the second secretary of the Hungarian Natural Science Society.
