Gusu ( Chinese  姑苏 区 , Pinyin Gūsū Qū ) is a municipality in the southern Chinese city of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province . It was created on August 10, 2012 by the union of the then Canglang , Pingjiang and Jinchang Districts . Administrative structure

At the community level, Gusu consists of 18 street districts and three large communities . These are:

Road neighborhood Suijin (苏锦街道), seat of the government of the municipality;

Huqiu Street District (虎丘 街道);

For a transitional period, until the three former districts have grown together, the government of the new district set up four “administrative committees” (,) to which the street districts and large municipalities are subordinate. They are: "New Town Lancang" (沧浪 新城 管委会), "New Town Pingjiang" (平 江 新城 管委会), "New Town Jinchang" (金阊 新城 管委会) and "Commercial and Business District Nanmen" (南门 商贸 区 管委会).
