GyazMail [ɡǽzmèil] is an e-mail program for Mac OS X that is developed in Japan. It is intended for advanced users and combines the look and feel (integration, appearance ...) of Apple Mail (the email program already included in Mac OS X) with the strengths of programs such as Eudora , PowerMail or Thunderbird . GyazMail is shareware .
From version 1.5 GyazMail supports IMAP , even if the implementation leaves something to be desired, especially in terms of speed. The fact that this function was previously lacking can be seen as the reason that prevented the primary target group (advanced users) from trying this program.
Some features of GyazMail:
- IMAP or local
- Multiple accounts
- Threading
- Supports regular expressions from Oniguruma
- AppleScript support
- Growl support
- Previous / Next in the settings dialog (as with OmniWeb )
- Native acknowledgment of receipt
- Allow non-breaking spaces
