Gygro

The building stone Gygro (also called Hustupto) stands near the Rosslandsguden , ( German  "the Rossland God" ), north of Hauge I Dalane near Egersund in the Rogaland Fylke in Norway .

The Iron Age menhir with a nose protruding from the tip looks a bit strange. There is a theory that the gygro, which is only 1.2 m high and 50 to 60 cm wide, is a phallic symbol stone. It stands in the high grasslands and is difficult to find. There is a small bowl on top of the stone .

According to legend, a troll stopped in the sun on the way home to the mountain “Trodlastovo” and turned into a rock.
