Gytis Ivanauskas

Gytis Ivanauskas (born June 1, 1980 in Ukmergė ) is a Lithuanian actor, dancer and choreographer . In 2005 he founded his own theater, called Gytis-Ivanauskas-Theater ( GI Theater ).

Life

From 1996 and 1998 he studied art at the National MK Čiurlionis School in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . After graduating from high school in 1999, he entered the Faculty of Theater and Cinema at the Lithuanian Academy of Music . In 2004 he received his master's degree as a dance actor. In 2017 he took part in the Lithuanian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 . In the spontaneous online decision ("come back" vote) of the Lithuanian television company LRT , Gytis Ivanauskas (alias Lolita Zero ) was ahead of Sasha Song with almost 1,700 votes and secured the final ticket with his song "Get frighten". In the final, he finished 4th (after Fusedmarc , Aistė Pilvelytė and Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė).

He worked with the director Gintaras Varnas . Gytis Ivanauskas as an artist has received several national awards. In 2007 his established theater was recognized as a professional theater by the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania .
