CLB da Hà Nội - ACB was a football club from Hà Nội , Vietnam and was founded in 1956 as a police and army sports club. The club played its home games in the Sân-Hàng-Đẫy Stadium.

Club history

The club was Công an Hà Nội, a founding member of the V-League and was runner-up in the league's first year of existence. After the greatest success, winning the championship in 1984, they waited until 2008 for another title. In 1989, the club placed third at the end of the season, before the second title in the club's history could be won with the cup in 2008. The cup final was won against Boss Bình Định , who, like Hà Nội - ACB, should be relegated to the second division at the end of the season. With only a disappointing 13th place and 19 points from 26 games, the relegation of Hà Nội - ACB was sealed in the end. After winning the cup, the club qualified for the 2009 AFC Cup . In 2010 the club rose again. After the club was relegated to the second division again in 2011, the club's management bought the league competitor Hòa Phát Hà Nội and merged with him to form FC Hà Nội , which took part in the V-League from 2011, before joining FC Sài in April 2016 Renamed Gòn .
