Boss BìnhĐịnh is a football club from Quy Nhơn , Vietnam and was founded in 2001. He currently plays in the second division of the country. The club plays its home games at the Quy Nhơn Stadium.

Club history

Immediately after the club was founded in the 1999/00 season, the club made it to the final of the promotion round to the first division and would have been eligible for promotion. Due to a league reform, however, there was no promoted. In 2000/01 they made up for this with a second place in the newly formed 2nd division. As a promoted team, they finished their first season in the V-League on a remarkable 4th place. The highest league placement followed in 2006, with a 3rd place. In 2003 and 2004 the club was able to win the Vietnamese Cup and in 2008 reached the final again. There you had to give up Hà Nội ACB, which at the end of the season, like Boss Bình Định, had to relegate to the 2nd division. Bình Định occupied a 6th place in 2007, but at the end of the season it was only enough for a 12th place, which meant the relegation play-offs. There you lost to FC Đồng Tháp , the third in the 2nd division.

The club went through several name changes due to changing sponsors. Most recently in 2008, the name was changed from Pisico Bình Định to its current name.
