Håvard Augensen (born June 4, 1980 in Røros , Norway ) is a former Norwegian handball player . He is 1.95 m tall and weighs 100 kg.

Augensen, who last played for the Norwegian club ØIF Arendal and ran for the Norwegian men's national handball team, was mostly used as a circle runner.

Håvard Augensen started playing handball in his hometown. He later came to Heimdal HK via Melhus to Trondheim, where he also made his debut in the Norwegian first division. In 2003 he moved abroad for the first time, to ThSV Eisenach in the German handball league . When he was relegated to the second division with the Thuringians in 2005, however, he returned to his Norwegian homeland, where he joined Sandefjord TIF . There he won the Norwegian championship in 2006. From summer 2008 he played for Drammen HK. A year later he signed a contract with ØIF Arendal. In April 2011 he played his last game for ØIF Arendal.

Håvard Augensen has so far played two international matches for the Norwegian men's national handball team. He never took part in a major tournament for his country.
