Héctor Reynoso López (born October 3, 1980 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican football player who plays on the position of defender. He has been under contract with Deportivo Guadalajara since the beginning of 2001 , for which he made his first division debut in an away game at the UANL Tigres in Monterrey that ended goalless. Before he signed with Guadalajara, he was under contract with the Grasshopper Club Zurich for a few months , for which he was used a total of six times. With Chivas he was in the final of the CONCACAF Champions' Cup 2007 , but lost to CF Pachuca on penalties .

Reynoso is considered a tough defender who sticks to his opponent and doesn't give up a ball. One of the great strengths of the 1.84 meter tall defender is aerial combat, where he rarely loses a duel. He also likes to take part in the attack on fast counterattacks.

The player made headlines when he reacted to provocations by his opponent Sebastián Penco in the last 16 of the Copa Libertadores against Everton Viña del Mar in May 2009 , referring to the so-called "swine flu" that occurred in Mexico at the time , by repeatedly responding to him spat at. Reynoso was then suspended for the remaining games of the competition.
