Héctor del Ángel (born March 6, 1971 in El Higo , Veracruz ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of a striker .

Life

In the 1994/95 season, Del Ángel came at the age of 23 in ranks of Tampico-Madero FC for his first appearances in the Mexican Primera División . At the end of 1995 he made his only two international appearances over a distance of 15 minutes on October 11, 1995 against Saudi Arabia (2: 1) and on November 30, 1995 against Colombia (2: 2). The calendar year 1997 he spent at CF Monterrey , for which he only came to ten first division appearances.

In 1998 he moved to Chivas Guadalajara , for which he completed a total of 85 first division appearances and also played in the Copa Merconorte . After moving to CD Zacatepec in the summer of 2002, he only made a single first division appearance in 2004 when he was again under contract with CF Monterrey. He ended his active career with his first club Tampico-Madero FC after this was promoted from the third-rate Segunda División to the second-rate Primera División 'A' in the summer of 2005 .
