Hédi Kaddour (born July 1, 1945 in Tunis , Tunisia ) is a French poet and novelist .

Life

Kaddour, the son of a Tunisian and a French woman , was professor of French literature at the New York University in France (NYUF) in Paris and at the École des métiers de l'information (EMI-CFD). With his novel Waltenberg , which was written over a period of seven years, he also gained attention beyond his home country in 2005. His next two major publications were the two books Savoir-Vivre and Les pierres qui montent , which were published by Éditions Gallimard .
