The Hôtel des Monnaies is a Romanesque hall house in the French commune of Cluny . It dates from the first half of the 13th century and is located at 6 Rue d'Avril. It has been classified as a Monument historique since 1958 .

architecture

The double hall building is two-storey and has an axially symmetrical facade that has been completely preserved. In the middle of the facade there is a striking chimney, which is framed on both sides by early Gothic ribbon windows. The building has two arcades on the ground floor .

history

The building was built between approx. 1210 and 1250.

In 1958 it was classified as a Monument historique.
