The Hölty-Gymnasium is a high school in the Lower Saxony city of Wunstorf , which was founded in 1922.
history
Originally, the school was established in 1922 as a junior high school founded and housed in buildings that from 1872 to 1876 for the Evangelical Royal Prussian teacher training seminar had been built. Both institutions existed side by side from 1922 to 1925. In 1925 the advanced school, like today's grammar school, was named after the poet Ludwig Christoph Heinrich Hölty .
