Barrows near Rispel

The barrows near Rispel are located in the Knyphauser Forest south of Rispel , a village in the municipality of Wittmund in Lower Saxony . They come from the Bronze Age . Of the original 100 or so hills, only a few have been preserved. The others were leveled around 1900.
