Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar (also Hüseyin Rahmi ; * 1864 in Constantinople , † 1944 in Istanbul ) was a Turkish novelist and literary translator.

The professional writer, who came from a family of civil servants, was a member of the Turkish parliament between 1936 and 1943. A number of his novels, which, according to Wilpert's Lexicon of World Literature , contain “readable, folkloric and linguistically rich descriptions of Turkish life on the eve of a new era”, appeared early in German, such as Die Erzieherin und Die Geschiedene in 1907 and The Lovesick Bey .
